Negative jurisdictional conflict raised before the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) between the 4th Civil Court Division of Campo Grande-MS and an arbitral tribunal. Natural gas supply contracts between Petrobrás and Tractebel containing an arbitration clause. The state court acknowledged its lack of jurisdiction in light of the arbitration clause, but maintained an injunction previously granted to Tractebel for the continuation of the contracts pending review by the arbitral tribunal. The arbitral tribunal likewise acknowledged its lack of jurisdiction, on the ground that the arbitration clause pertains solely to the existing natural gas supply contracts and does not encompass the dispute at hand, which concerns Tractebel's claim to enter into a new contract under the same rules (PPT) governing the prior contracts. The possibility of continuing the lawsuit before the 4th Civil Court Division of Campo Grande-MS, designated as the competent court to resolve urgent matters until the final adjudication of the jurisdictional conflict:
