The grounds for arbitrator partiality are not limited to those of impediment and suspicion applicable to state court judges. The appointment of an arbitrator with a kinship relationship (collateral to the third degree) with the lawyer representing a party in the arbitration proceedings constitutes grounds for suspicion.
